Well i'm just getting all my guns together, and now i figure i need a good rig. Would anyone have any suggestions of what/where to get something? I'm kinda strapped for money, since i've been out of a job for a few months, and i leave for Marine boot camp on april 19th, so i dont have much time... Not looking for something super fancy, just hoping to get it all togeather to get to shoot one match at least before i go. Heck, i'd even be happy to look at used stuff. Would be for a pair of smoke wagon's in .45lc with 4.75" barrels...

Go to the shoot and surely some one will have something you can borrow for a day or two, somebody here would probably make you a simple pair, you CAN"T go wrong with these fellers.Go through here and check thier websites.Dalton.WC,Cowboy 316,Ned BuckShot,Dave Cole Josh, heck they are all excellent~~
Bunch a ole scudders!

OK,
I guess i'll just go and see if i can borrow something. What do you think it would cost me for a simple double rig from someone on here?

DM,
Oh that'd be awesome!! I actually have an old belt with .45 loops, but the holster on it is about worn out, though its a single rig, and i guess i need a double rig...

If you have a belt, I have 2 holsters. Just have to pick out which to send when I get home.
Just need an address.

DM,
Thanks so much! What do i owe you?
Just for a heads up, i'd be looking for open top/quick draw holsters that would be for the 4.75" or 5.5" taylor smoke wagons (saa clones i guess).

Thanks again, i'll PM my address then.

You owe me nothing but your service to the ol' US of A.
Give me a day or two, and they will be in the mail.  ;)

They will be of the Cheyenne style, with a double loop.

I'd be most interested in a nice darker brown, not black, but not something real light either...

Also, i dont think my belt is going to work, so what kind do you recommend i start looking for?
-Semper Fi

Dalton Masterson

Any 2 1/2" to 3" wide straight belt will do. Even your regular pants belt would work in a pinch.
I have a set of holsters cut out here, I just need to give them some color, and stitch them. Then they are on their way.
