Hi Triple W,

Thanks for the additional info.  Have you fired it yet?  Are you loading your own cartridges?  I also have the .45 Schofield Spencer.  I have been using Ten-X cartridges.  So far no jams or problems feeding.  So far ::) ::)

BTW, what's that other weapon you have on display ::) ::)  I only have eyes for Spencers ;D ;D ;D

I've probably fed something over a thousand rounds of handloaded BP .45 S&W thru that sweet little carbine, nary a problem.  Never did a thing to her, still as she came from the factory.  Miss her *sniff*   :'(

Not to worry, I've got still got a 56/50 with which to console myself.   ;D
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

Howdy Two Flints,
I haven't shot it yet but I will be loading my own. I'll be starting out with 200 gr, cast bullets over black powder. As for the others, 1860 Richards conversion by Ken Howell (R&D), 1858 Remington w/R&D conversion cylinder to shoot 45 colt/schofield and that other Damned  Yankee Repeater
;D

Drydock....I know ya gota miss her....she's a bute....but she' got a good home and I promise to take good care of'er. ;)
