I have a pretty good start on my holster for my 1911A1. I am going to hand stitch this one. First time doin it, so heads up. I will probably be asking questions. Probably shouldn't of said that. My luck the forum will empty for the next few days now!  :'(      ;D I got the carving done, and I am ready to apply a finish. I can't decide what color(s) to use. Any suggestions. Here's some pics.

Just put on a few light coats of extra virgin olive oil, and give it some sunshine. That will give it a nice tan color, and show off that carving.
Nice job..
