I finished up my second project, a Shoulder Holster rig for my Thunderer. I got it put together this afternoon. The only thing on it I am undecided about is the Napped leather area. I like the contrast between the two surfaces, and like how the napped area feels. I just don't like the natural color. I am going to try some experiments with different dyes and finishes until I get something I like. Here are some pics

The strap on the backside of the holster will hold a knife sheath and dagger. I am going to attempt to make my own. This was challenging and a lot of fun. I need to thank everyone who has offered up advice to me while building this rig. Thanks a bunch fellas!

Howdy Amin,
Man-o-man I like that!! Love the color(my favorite),the lacing
and the carving. Darn shame to put that under a jacket. :o

Very nice rig Amin. That light color will get a natural dye pretty quick when you start wearing it this summer ;) ;D Course I guess thats a good argument for dyeing it now.  Anyhow its a good looking rig.
Lost..... I ain't never been lost...... fearsome confused fer a month er two once... but I never been lost.

Howdy Pal
That came out great.
It would go well with a John Wayne rig in color.

If you end up adding color to the backside of the holster make sure it is sealed well. Otherwise the dye will transfer to your shirt.
Nice looking rig I need one as well.

Hey Amin,

Looks great Pard. Very nice tooling, nice color, and the contrasting color is sharp.

That's something I need to get, a pattern for a shoulder holster like that.

Very Nice Pard,

Thanks for the kind words fellas. Again though, When ever I needed advice or had a question you all were there to help. So you all are responsible for makin it happen! In other words, it's all you guy's fault I'm hooked on this stuff now!!  ;D  It's means a lot to hear all your thoughts and comments about the rig. But it means even more to me that you all have taken the time to help someone like me learn how to do it. Thanks again pards.

Amin, that rig is great! Especially for your 2nd attempt at a project! You must be channeling Al Stohlman or something.

I like the color, and the design. Very good.

NWG, your missing out if you cant see em. Your holsters are stitched, btw, need to do belt now.
