Hello!
Does anyone know if Eureka Arsenal is going okay?  I've emailed them several times about a couple of different items and I get absolutely no response.  I'd like to place an order with them soon, but I don't want to send money and get nothing back.  Thanks!

This won't help answer your question but the same thing has happened to me. I've tried three times and got nothing. Glad I haven't placed an order at this time...

When I placed my order last year, I called Jim at the number that was listed on his website.  He was very knowledgeable & helpful in answering my questions.  Had to pay up front w/ check.  He did not take credit card for payment.  He delivered the items in a reasonable time.  I was happy with my order.  I hope he is still in business.
Good luck w/ contacting him.

I couldn't find a number on the website.  Where is it?  Thanks!

I can highly reccomend Turner slings M1885.  Good price, high quality leather.  Standard sling for the Krag throughout its period of issue.  WPG has the web sling used in the Phillipines.
Civilize them with a Krag . . .

The Eureka Arsenal sling is great!  I've got one on my Krag and it compares very favorably in quality to the original.

I had a nice visit with James Kanne of Eureka Arsenal a couple of days ago.  He's going to be having some sort of surgery soon that includes about a six month recovery time.  After that, he's not  sure what he'll still be able to produce, especially in the way of brass work.  He does have some things in stock that he can ship out immediately.  (I'm getting a pair of boots myself.)  He told me that he has quite a few Model 1911 campaign hats in stock even though they're not shown on the web site.  I hope he makes a full recovery soon, as he does excellent work at a reasonable price!
