Copper rivets

Ok pards, I read the Facts on this but not understanding what others have done. The pre-made ones at Tandy are too big for my taste. I would like to make my own. There are some instructions in a book I have, but I have not had any success in getting one made. Anyone make their own tool to make these?

     Pappy, I tried to make one but it didn't work worth a hoot, I didn't care for the one Tandy sells either, so I bought a set for #12 copper rivets from Douglas Tools, they are costly but work beautifully , around $50.00 a set.

I think i got some from Orchard Supply,in case i eve get the guts to try somethin..
