NCOWS Convention 2010

Marshal and I are really looking forward to seeing all of you this year at the NCOWS Convention in March..

Well, wherever it is, I sure hope we can have the premiere showing of O.C.B.'s video tome on the Buffler Hunt as the featured item! Now that would be a hit, a seminar on the making-of, etc., and then a viewing, then a chance to buy a signed copy of same! Who could ask for anything more?!

Having the convention at "spring break" time does make plans difficult for some folks, myself included.  This years convention is during my kids' spring break, so I'm gonna sacrifice a little time with them to attend.  Perhaps in future years, we can schedule it a little earlier in the year.

We use to have it earlier.  the problem was the weather was too unpredictable.  2 years ago we had a an early March snow storm that caused a difficult drive home for many of us that lived north of Kansas City.  My wife and I ended up in the median strip on US High way 20.  I think we even had it in late February some years but that was a real pain for traveling.  I guess that there is no perfect time
