Would bacon in the beans be OK? ;D

I sure wish I could remember what I tossed into the leftover ones before I baked them Sunday, several folks said they were good. ::)  Rick has no idea what I threw in them and I don't either, and I know I told someone.  Oh well, just have to toss stuff in next time and see how they come out. ::)

It was me that asked, here: http://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php/topic,28691.msg380351.html#msg380351

Bacon's fine too, but I had a big package of ham I bought just for the beans.

Texas Lawdog

We fixed a big Pot of Pinto Beans tonight. We had some japaleno cornbread too.  I cut up some red onion in mine and added a dash of chili powder. It sure was good, too.

We made about 3 meals out of those beans. We'll probably brew up another pot of them next week.

EEJ will resolve his computer problems as soon as he can. He's still gamefully employed as a Cop, so he probably doesn't have much time to devote to his computer woes.

EE, The first thing I did after I retired, I quit wearing a wrist watch. I didn't have anyplace that I needed to go to or be at. After almost 40 years as a Cop, it felt good not to have a lot of structure in my Life.
