Hi Guys
I just got a (new to me) pair of NMA Uberti 5 1/2'' forgred frame revolvers. They did not have forcing cones cut, and the barrels are not centered. I noticed the sights were drifrted off to one side but did not realise why at first.  These were made in 2004 I also have a set with regular bbl. lenth made in 2001, that have no such problems. Is this common or are these an anomaly.
One of the afore mentioned barrels is about 10 degrees off.  I have not tried to shoot it yet. Do any of you have any commet if you think  it will shoot stright enuf for CAS. ???

Sounds pretty bad.   I'd try to get my money back . . if possible.   I saw another thread recenlty about barrels with no forcing cones.  Sounds really strange to me.  Uberti was bought out a while back . . . .  ::)

I'm a Pietta shooter myself.  Just as my first cap & ball was a Pietta and I've stuck to them for interchangability of parts and cylinders.
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.
