I recently traded for a pair of brass frame 10.5" barrel w/adjustable sight revolvers. They aren't new but have been well taken care of. I have two right hand long holsters as well. I saw that back in Nov there was some talk of changing barrels with steel frame guns to make long barrel guns that aren't available from the factory in the US. Maybe here's your chance. These aren't consecutive serial #'s but only 8 apart. Interesting trades considered. I have $400 in mind for guns and holsters + shipping.

Pictures are possible but I don't have a very good camera.

I was the one who started the thread about "buffalo revolvers" and I still want one really badly! The problem is that
Matthew Duncan invited me to a CAS match in November and I discovered that I need a lot more guns! While I am sure that, I when I am
able to afford one of those long barred revolvers of my very own, I will love shooting it and value it greatly, I just don't think it it going
to be my first choice for a CAS pistol. So, the "buffalo revolver" moves to the back of my list, behind 2 CAS pistols, a nice coach gun,
and a lever action rifle.

If ya really want a Buffalo Revolver REALLY bad . . . . here are a pair of them . . . with holsters . . . for a great price . . . so BUY 'em . . . use them for your initial revolvers . . . then buy more pistols later . . . you WILL buy MORE PISTOLS . . . beleive me YOU WILL   :)

My wife has not even met you and I can tell you right now, she doesn't like you much! ;D

Truth is I have no desire to own 2 buffalo revolvers, and the one I want to end up with will be a steel frame. I really should call the
guy back who sent  me a message saying  he had a steel frame one that he would be willing to part with, but my car broke down and
I didn't have the money at the time so I never got around to calling him.

I do have a question for you. The Buffalo revolvers that Cabela's sells list their barrels as 12" are yours a different
size or are the 12" barrels not really 12"?

Rolling Stone

I can't speak for Cabela's pistols but mine are exactly 10.5 inches of Octagon barrel - BUT Wait there's more ---I just measured from the front of the cylinder and low and behold - -  The length of the barrel is 12 1/8" from the face of the cylinder (end of threads) to the muzzle. Sorry about that chief. I must have had a senior moment. Maybe I need to try to trade something for a couple of Kirst cylinders and carry these to keep my feet on the ground - something like that. I wonder about having 2 right hand holsters. Maybe lefties are quite hard to get for this length.
Don't let your wife be to hard on Wolfgang, He's a fine gentleman. I hear he's coming East this spring and might visit with the troops at Possum Trot. (I hope).

I almost bought one with a steel frame 2 years ago.  Was on Gunbroker.  Made by Armi San Marco.  With postage it would have been $ 235.00    I debated about buying it . . . wanted it BADLY . . but my cash flow was a bit tight and I figured the safer thing was to keep the $s in the bank . . . . glad I did for a week later I heard from my brother that my mom had passed away and so had to make a trip to Ohio for her service and was glad I'd kept the cash in the bank.   I could have made a steel frame one since I bought the barrel from VTI . . . but I'm planning on using it for reenectments and it'll "LOOK SO COOL" in brass frame and with the brass hardware on the butt stock.   :)

G C Rick,
Have I got a deal for you. You can be the only man in captivity with 3 - count-um- 3 feet of barrels on only 3 guns. All the little children will have to look up to you. Do it for the children. Where did that come from, I must have heard it somewhere else.
I don't think they will all fit in that box though. Don't you have a shoulder-stock lying around to put on the 3rd one.

. . . and then . . . with just a few more pistols . . . he'll be ready for the    "Josie Wales Catagory"   :o

If you beat the brush you can find a nickle plated "pinto" buffalo.

It's brass under the nickle so I keep the loads on the light side, good shooter.
