Well, I've said that the Department of Missouri muster will be participant driven, so I'm going to allow the participants to choose the date. I had hoped that more people would have made their preferences known in my other thread, but since I didn't get the responce I'd hoped I'm setting up this poll to find out what is best for most people. I'll be running the poll for another 10 days. Please don't vote if you can't attend.

I didn't vote, want to be there but not sure if I can make it. I don't have a preference on which weekend.

Dalton Masterson

I voted for the 24-25, as the 1st is our regular monthly shoot in Grand Island.
The weekend of the 17-18th is also our combined saturday/sunday match with Flatwater, so the 24-25 is all I got left.

Thats assuming my wife doesnt drag me to Disneyworld in FL that week. :P :-\

Tell Freeda that Pooper Trooper would enjoy it more if she'd wait 4 or 5 years.  ::)

I know it..... I am saying 10-12 years if not 20, but the grandparents are actually the ones making the arrangements. (I think)

Well any of those were good for me and Rick, that's why I didn't chime in to much.  BTW if my wife and kids want to go to Disney World they can go with out me. ;D

BTW I have been trying some differnt dishes out on Rick over winter for feedback to have some different items.  Got a couple that wer popular in the time you don't see often anymore.  The Fried pork with apples and onions was a big hit with him, interesting combination of flavors.

Same for most, but I like to do different things, this one is a go, got another one we're gonna 'spearmint with, might not be totally PC, one of those could of, South West indian type dish, very popular today among many of our desendands of the first Americans.  We're thinkin' on it instead of the CFS for those who get there for supper the night before, should work good for that.

Have not done one of my meatloafs at a GAF event yet, thinkin' about one meal for that, has been a big hit.

BTW Jerry, for planning, how far away is the nearest grocery store, might be easier to make a couple trips in for some of the perishable foods, dry ice helps on that, but I doubt we can find that close. ;D

As we plan, if anyone has an item from the period they'd like to have, hollor and we'll consider it, I just like to do different things now and then.

'Bout 3.5 or 4 miles.

Well that makes it simpler. ;)  Might be to warm to butcher a beef and hang it.

Nothing bad, just shaved pork.  One of them old time dishes that is not popular anymore, like the fried cabbage.

Rick and I talked it over, and for anyone who needs supper on the 23rd we're gonna do Indian Tacos with shredded beef instead of hamburger.  Will work good in case folks show up late and hungry.  I figger the Little Brothers will show up for that one.

(Indian tacos are just a Tex-Mex filling on fry bread, Rick found out I'm good with fry bread.) ;D
