Me `n` Annie `O` had ta go to the range today, so I brought my xmas prezzie along fer its first outing,

I went through the pics I took and this one just jumped out at me so I thought I`d share.

DD;  you should see the CAS range.  Sand dunes and cliffs as far as the eye can see.

That is about 15 yards in all directions! And filled with swampy water whenever it rains, which is a lot!

I call it the Pickett's Hill Badlands.

Nope she didnt start out as a Saddle Ring  ;)
Ta cut a very long story short I wuz gonna buy me a Puma saddle ring BUT the Pumas head looked REEEL CRAP!!

Soooooooooo... I got me a 20in Rossi Carbine `n` tuned it, and made meownself a saddle ring, found a reeeel beaut of a Pumas head medallion on the net, skimmed it nice `n` thin, then inlaid it

Fer LR....

It is slightly recessed and I just used Locktite (sp) Super glue

It seems quite happy and it aint likely to get bashed much  ;D
