I've made some enquiries about the Nebraskan Mule Ear Shooter Boots from Fort Western. They look the goods, just wondering are they a small or good fit sizewise? Will be a real pain to have to return 'em for an exchange.

Thanks

Send an email or a PM to either Terry Lane or Delmonico. at 'The Fort'.

I know they've shipped to Oz - and they'll be able to answer all of your questions.

Guess that depends on the foot, right?  ::)

I got a pair. Fit well and pretty comfortable, even through a full day of shootin'.

I wear size 12 wide, and mine fit well even with thick socks.

I got a pair of boot from The Fort and they are the most comfortable I ever had. I can wear them all day and my dogs don't get tired or sore. Kinda spongy on the bottom insoles which really helps a lot.

I bought the shooters boots and they fit true to size. The service was so good that I then broke down and bought some dress boots from them, also.

Good people to do business with and, as mentioned above, give them a call and talk it over.

Thanks fellas for your opinions and info.

I have communicated with Terry Lane and The Fort, hope to do business with them soon.

When I bought a pair of boots from them a few years ago, Terry said that as long as the sole was not scuffed up they would take them back if I was unhappy with them. Been wearing them about three years now, ain't unhappy yet.
That's bad business! How long do you think I'd stay in operation if it cost me money every time I pulled a job? If he'd pay me that much to stop robbing him, I'd stop robbing him.

Ya probably inherited every penny ya got!

That's interestin'.  I just checked their website and now they've got mule-ear shooters boots by Tony Lama.  The regular ones they've had fer a long time are Fort Frontier. That's the ones I have, and probably most of the rest of the folks here.

The TL is an older boot not made any more, we bought all that was left, there is limited sizes left and only in brown.
