Do you know when this William Robert died because he looks a lot like a William Roberts alias Brushy Bill?  I know Brushy had to have lived in New Mexico or knew people that knew Billy even if he wasn't the KID

The Spring 2010 issue of Guns of the Old West touches on the Kid's guns, leather and has a CSI-type computer enhanced photo of the one Del posted that brings out a lot of details. I thought it was worth the cover price just for that.

Yes, it also shows that his finger is curled around the barrel/mag. tube, not missing.
