Daniel,

I am shooting with an 1872 Open Top in an 1871 US Army Flap Holster.  I, of course have to reverse draw.  I'm shooting NCOWS Originals class which only uses 1 revolver.  Do I qualify??  I shoot duelist only.  With lots of boom and SMOKE!!! :D ;) :D

Dr. Bob,

In a 1-pistol class, you certainly do!  Send me your, ah, other name and snail-mail address in an email, and I'll get you all signed up.  Once we get the membership pins (it'll still be a little while yet), we'll get one out to ya.

My email address is danielnighteyes01@gmail.com

Don't know what the NCOWS rules are, but SASS seems to only worry about double butt forward in a double duelist situation....

Uh, that would be "in a Gunfighter situation", which means pulling and shooting both pistols together. They got no rule against Duelist or Double Duelist situations.

Daniel,

Sorry for the nomenclature malfunction ... but I do like shooting both pistols in hand at the same time ... so I guess that makes me a 'gunfighter' ... and all the RoI agree that doing what I do is a no-no with double butt forward, so I guess again I shoot 'gunfighter' ....
