Greetings Troops (and merry Christmas)

It is getting to be almost time for the Winter Range annual match in Phoenix.  It will be February 24th thru 28th and, once again, GAF Department of the Platte has been invited to provide the color guard for opening ceremonies.  We've been doing this for several years now and the match organizers are always pleased with our presentation.  If you're going to the match - or if you're in the area and have a bit of time that morning - we would be pleased to have you participate.  We want everybody to be in uniform but the particular uniform is up to you.  We have been mostly in frontier blue but have had, at one time or another; sailors, Span-Am War, Wild Bunch era, and CSA uniformed participants.  All are welcome.  Flags are provided by Winter Range and we ask participants to have an appropriate (military type) rifle or saber.  If you can participate, or if you have any questions, please get in contact with me.  Respond here, send me a PM, or e-mail me at:  akbullen2001@yahoo.com.  Many thanks and see you in February...

As of 3 January there are five participants signed on as definite and one more maybe.  If you're going to be at Winter Range, or in the area, we'd like to have you join in.  The more of us there are, the better we can honor the colors...
