There's the famous "Texas Hospitality"  I (we) found abundant in Texas!

But whut does this have to do with longer shoot-gun barrels?

Oh, Yeah.  Longer than normal.

SHB, I don't know how that happened.  We try to be socialable, out here in Texas. I wouldn't know what to do with a long barrel.

I've pretty much - 'tho not totally - given up on finding a long barrel ... by itself ...

So ... I guess it's the excuse I need to simply buy another shotgun ... with a full barrel.  And perhaps I can get lucky like my pard "Black Bart" Stewart was.  Our pard, Dave "Jed Cooper" Hollandsworth found and procured an old, full length 12 ga. hammered double gun from Auction Arms (I think) at a VERY reasonable price.  When Bart went to shoot it, he dropped in a 12 ga. shell .... and it went about 6" into the barrel!  Turns out it was sold as a 12 ga. but was in fact a 10 ga.!  (It wasn't marked)

Cool, eh ?!?

Jeff:

Huglu (who makes the new CZ shotguns) builds a long barrel hammer gun and the 2 or 3 I have looked at are pretty decent.  They are not Stoger or TNN price, but not outragouesly expensive either.  Look up TR Imports on the net and give them a call.

I don't think I would want to shoot that 10ga. more than once.

I enjoy shooting my 10 ga. I bought it to shoot Pistoleer, and then they came out with Working Cowboy. Now it just sits in the back of the closet.

We had a guy that used to belong to GLFMC, Angus Younger, who brought an double barrel 8 ga. to one of our shoots. The recoil on it was attention getting.
