Longer Shotgun Barrels

I'm posting this here 'cause I shoot (almost exclusively) BP shells from my Tula shotgun in NCOWS competition.



My Tula is one of the older TOZ66s, made (at least) before 1989.  (It says "made in USSR" and since the USSR dissolved in the 1989-90 timeframe ... )

Anyway, does anyone know if I can get a set of longer barrels for it?  It's a 12 ga.  I know that Tula makes a 16 ga with full size barrels - my pard, Jed Cooper has one.  I'm looking for 26" to 28" barrels, if possible.  Mine is the Coachgun version (which is obvious from the picture   ) and has an 18" set with Mod. choke on the right barrel and IC on the left.  Believe it or not, the chokes actually work some.  To a point. A bit.  It's a great gun - in spite of the fact the Commies made it, and I don't want to get rid of it.

I don't know much about Rusky Shotguns, but I might have a solution for you.   I think you might be able to crush up these pills, and mix them in with your Black Powder.  I think this might help your shotgun get the length you're looking for:

You might also check with Fall Creek Sam. He has a long-barrelled TOZ 66 that he bought from me a few years ago. Doubt he'd be interested in selling, but it might be worth asking him.
