Hello all
Well you foks is done right in telling this old man he would get more.  I bought the fancy engraved nickel posted a month ago or so.  Bit afraid to shoot that one that is so perfect.  So as you might imagine I just purchased a second premium 45.  This one just nice barely shot serial # 22,000.  I put on it a set of grips I purhcased some 30 years ago that are the most perfect faux ivory grips I have ever seen.  The aged grips have beautiful cracks in them.  Now am very happy for the moment at least.

After studying most all single actions on the market I must say I find no better SAA than USFA.  These pistols I find the revolvers to be the best in current production.  The early second generation colt that is in my collection is so close to a twin it is amazing.  I still look for fine first generation Colts which due to history I must find as a better gun for my collection.  The cost of fine ones still keeps me a bit forboding.  Still they are there.

I agree with you, USFA has made some absolutely beautifull firearms.  Can't wait to see a picture.
