Hi all! I'm new to this site.I have a question to throw out so here goes....I have an Uberti .31 cal b.p., steel frame Wells Fargo. I dropped in a two part conversion cylinder, which will bind if I push the barrel wedge in securely. If I leave the wedge out some, just snug it in everything works fine. What should I do? This is an older bp  reproduction but the cylinder is new.. It seems the barrel/cylinder gap is the problem. How do I fix it? Thanks guys!

I've seen similar problems on other revolvers, both cap'n ball and factory cartridge conversions.  I'd just adjust the wedge so it works.  Caution, check the length of both cylinders to see if they are any where close to the same length.  If not, see a smith.

The problem may be that some modern makers don't fit the abour to bottom in the barrel properly.
