My favorite thing is sitting around the campfire at night listening to all the critters . The sound of bull frogs croaking during the night or a pack of coyotes .  and the sounds from the campfire , these are the simple things in life that make it all worth living . We enjoy being out in the wild , have you ever sat on a rock and wondered who sat there a 150 years ago ? Life is Short enjoy every second .

The Black Powder 12 gauge shotgun shells have a 1 3/8 ounce of #5 shot powered by 100 grains of Goex 3f . They aint no wimpy loads . Works real good on Turkeys .To make this work I also use a shot cup which performs GREAT . What are you using in your shotgun loads ?

dusty texian

Rowdy I still have enough of the bp.shell's you sent me ,they are plenty powerful, and pattern good in my hammer double outa 45 paces or more.Gonna do more testin with my brass shell loadin before I use them on game. Ifn the load's I'm shootin are loaded like you say ,I say I should be able to up my load's a bit. Cause I'm not pushin but 60grn. 3fff Goex under 1-1/8 ox.# 4 .My old gun locks-up tight ,but feel I need to work up a bit at a time. Headin out in a day ot two for my hunt,if the creek dont rise.......Dusty

I sure do like the #5 shot . They have worked real good out of my Double barrel . I hope I hit the Lotto tonight . Will become a full time hunter tomorrow IF I WIN . I guess that is the real red neck 401 K plan .

Right, like everyone here doesn't spend every waking hour trying to find an excuse to use their firearms.

Thank you. I've only had it about a month.

We usually gig frogs , but if we shoot them we use a 22 . BUT when you shoot them sometimes they will get away . Plus you don't have to feel around under water trying to feel the sunken frog .

That would be a neat thing to take a troop of Boy Scouts out on.
