I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Delmonico

And I'm waitin' fer the day when I can start on Grandpa's 53  Dodge Pick-Up.  BTW my pick-up is uglier than yer T-Bird. :P :P :P :P :P :P

Buck, it won't fit in as tight a space as a Crosley Hot Shot. ;D

He I thought Buck's thread was the used car and bus thread?  You'd think that moderator would straighten us out. ;D

You want a NASH Metropolitan, there's a guy out here collects 'em an' drives one every day...usually  different one every day.  Has about thrity of them.  No AMC trash, all Nashes.

Also got folks who collect Corvairs (over 60 at last count, including vans and pickups), Hudsons (30+), an' Studebakers (about 20).

Thars a Doctor whut belongs to the club I was in when I was showin' the 'Bird.  Ole boy collects '55 thru '57 Chevrolets.  Ever flavor 'n all perfect.

Used ta dock 'im points 'cuz 'e'd put a l'il hunk ah hose on the radiator drain 'n run it thru the drain hole in the gravel pan.  Such ah thing as bein' too perfect.

I want a driver, not a trailer queen.  Used to know an old fellow that was verrrry sharp on how Henry and Co put to gether V8 Fords, he'd dock you for going too far overboard.  Yer 'neamal better have a fair amount of orange peel or you were shot down, he hated ones that were overdone. ;D

There's always the Amphicar, you could take that one swimming. I got to ride in one of those......in the water! :o With the props engaged, it did vibrate a bit though. Not like running an outboard, that's for sure.............Buck 8) ::) ;)

Kiddin' aside, I'd dock ya fer goin' too far.  AACA sez they're supposed ta be as they were when they came off the assembly line.  In the case ah them Chebbys, GM didn't put a hunk ah hose there.  The intent was ya put a drain pan unner the drain hole in the gravel pan ta catch drained coolant.  L'il antifreeze got on the gravel pan, so be it.

Dockin' 'im points fer that didn't matter much.  The things were so well restored he'd win his class anyway.  Think it was him I caught with different headlights in one once.

Some of the frame-off restorers were bad about fillin' welds in the frame 'n smoothin' 'em over.  Then when they repainted the things it was prettier than the exterior paint on most others.  Dock 'em points 'n they'd get madder'n hell.  The Corvette folks were real bad 'bout that.

If it 'twer me I'd put the rubber hose in when I drained it and then take it out.  But what do I know, Im just a dumb "ol cosie. ;D

My business partner for several years was an old German lady who was a closet car restorer.  Her hubby was a machinist and made a lot of parts for the first car she owned after she came to the States.  Until I saw hers (it's restored and running now) I'd never heard of a Gogomobile.

Up until ten years ago I could have put you in touch with the owner of three Isettas, two 300s with the single front door, and a 600 with the front door and a sliding door on the right rear for the "back seat".  After he died I lost track of the cars.

The Germans made some strange cars right after the war.  One of them sold over 20 million copies. ::)
