Anyone able to contact USFA?  I have tried to call their contact number (860-296-7441) and no one answers the phone.  There is also no way to leave a voicemail, including with the receptionist, because every single "mailbox is full," and apparently has been for some time.  I hesitate to drop 3 bills on this organization if I cannot speak to a real person, and I am wondering how customer service works, exactly, if you should ever wish to have your firearm repaired.  Just askin'....

Talked to Gary last week for about 15 minutes.

Maybe something's up with their phone system right now?  Anyone else had this experience lately?  Unusual not to even get voicemail with a company....

Actually, yes. I tried to call several times over a 2 week period (late Oct., early Nov.) and always got the recorded messages/voicemail.  I was more worried than irritated. I'm hoping it doesn't mean there's a major problem with the company.  I did finally get an email.
Lunarian, n.  An inhabitant of the moon, as distinguished from Lunatic, one whom the moon inhabits. (Ambrose Bierce).  Which one are you?

I think what you are missing is the fact that USFA is a busy manufacturing place, to say the least, and with companies trying to get more out of their employees with the prevailing economic times, employees are priortizing their time and answering the phone calls from their dealers and suppliers.  That is why I place my inquiries at the dealer level.

I would hope your decision to purchase a beautiful US Firearm rests with actually handling and inspecting one, and listening to the past experiences of the many happy owners that have had excellent results with customer service.

I also would imagine if you want to hear how USFA is as a company before you place your hard earned cash down on their products, it might be better to talk to a dealer who has had several customers involved with USFA products, instead of talking to a more than likely biased USFA employee.

Actually (finally) got Gary who was very helpful, and am in process of ordering a custom engraved SAA through a dealer here; downside is 6-12 month wait... :'(
