I was standin there and saw that scene and thought "This is a Kodak moment." I pulled out my camera and just managed to get that shot before you went back to stirrin the Nebraska cheese steak.

Love that one also, we were to busy to get some of the good shots, either that or I had bread dough all over my hands.

I found an interesting comparison between the 2004 and 2005 group photos below and the 2009.

I found an interesting comparison between the 2005 group photos below and the 2009. Does anyone have any pictures of the 2004 Muster? I wasn't able to attend that year.

Colonel -

Based on my own photos, the first two pictures  in your above message are from 2004 .....

Only the third is from 2005 - note the differences in the Dress uniforms ....

Anyway, I do have a number of pics from 2004 .... want me to e-mail them to you, opr should we start a thread here in the Barracks, where others might be able to post pics from that Muster also.  (The Barracks had just barely gotten up and running back in November 2004, and I don't think there was ever a photo thread for the first Muster .....

However, Lone Gunman put up a 2004 Grand Muster webpage with a number of photos .... and i see it still seems to be up ......  (Matter of fact, 'll wager that is where you got your first two photos above!)  - http://www.lone-gunman.com/Muster/

You are correct that Lonegunman's web site is the source of the photo's. The registration form on that site was for the '05 shoot and the photo's at the banquets looked like they were taken at the time so I thought they were of the 05 (which I attended part of) The only group photo of '05 that I have is the one at the banquet that I posted. Do you have a group photo of the '05?  If so, I'd sure like to see it.

The main point is that we've come quite a ways.

Further to the above discussion, I have started a thread for photos from the very first National Muster in 2004 - others xhould post their images from that gathering, as well!

Yeah, I forgot we had one of those taken. Do you remember who took it?

I have winners pictures from Mike, that will take a lot of posting!

Legendary Troopers in the Grand Army of the Frontier.
Col Pitspitr's awards speech led me to believe that Cherry Lake Kate may very well have won the Iron Trooper Award if there were a couple more female milspec shooters, and I may bring a couple more to Lockhart in 2010
