Well pards, the stages are written;
the award banquet caterer (MMMMM... 3 meat BBQ & cobbler) is set;
the chuckwagon (really, an authentic chuckwagon and its award winning crew) has been contracted to serve breakfast, lunch and even dinner if desired;
the awards are finished;
vendors are committed;
and most importantly, four members of our our posse have stepped up and done yoemen's service in getting the range ready.

Area shooters who have not been to our range in the last 6 months would not recognize the place.  Lethal Larry, Ruidoso, Frisco Banker and Diablo Slim have worked hard and led the effort that has made our range outstanding!  They've laid bull carpet and spread wood chip mulch so that there will be no problem with damp spots or mud in the area uprange of the stages.  They've made the needed minor repairs to the stages.  They've inventoried and repaired targets  and gotten everything ready for the regional.

These four men have done themselves and their posse proud.  My hat's off to them.  We're fortunate indeed to have such as these among our numbers.
