Had a SASS shoot today, in the sunshine, which is rare for Oregon this time of year. Placed firmly in the middle of the pack as usual, 15 out of 34 shooters, but first in my class. We even had a flier which I nailed, made the whole day worthwhile!
Yee haw!  ;D

Slick, we shoot both SASS and Western 3 Gun. They were shooting SASS on the third Saturday of the month, and W3G the following Sunday. Then so many of the guys started coming to our church, we moved the W3G to the fourth Saturday, so I have two opportunities a month to shoot right in my back yard, or which I am grateful. We shoot Feburary through November, rain or shine.

Nice Score Dr. Bob, & BTW, we're prayin for that young lady.

Hey ACE, it's good to hear from you! I really feel for you guys who are still stuck in winter mode. We had one glorious day of sunshine, then back to the standard Oregon drizzle for most of Sunday.

Actually, preachers like crummy weather on Sundays. That way people say "Ah, it's too cold, windy, rainy, snowy, (choose your weather problem) to go play around, so we might as well go to church!   :D

I went to my second match of the season today in Grand Island. Last sunday was Hill City, Ks for a cool day. Today was beautiful in the 50s, and very light breeze. Good day for making smoke. I had a few trainwrecks for some reason today, but enjoyed it nonetheless.
We had a few newer shooters there that I hadnt met yet, and 1 brand new shooter. He has a SASS # under 200. He has never been to a match in all the years hes been a member, but did it today in fine style.

My wife has taken to calling all of the Nebraska SASS members who are inactive, and finding out why they are not shooting...This guy was one of them. She has about 200 more to call I think... :o

Fella's,
Sound like some of you all are injoying your selfs, the weather here is going to be better, I am ready for 70-80's that is the temps I like, but hotter is okay! This winter has realy been rough on me, I would like to move to a warmer area, but I don't think that will happen. I don't know how some of those people that sit and watch tv all the time have any kind of life?? That isn't for me!!!!! If I wasn't crazy before all of this, I am NOW ::) ::)
I think I will go and see the new leather you all have been making.
