I don't have the right veiner for the V stamps so I ground the end of an old screwdriver and used that.

Marshal Will Wingam

That means the screwdriver was the right tool. It looks great. Thumbs up!

Howdy Gents,

Been down south visiting my son and his family.  My compliments to everyone for the beautiful work posted while we were gone. It's a genuine pleasure to view these fine works of art!

Many thanks to everyone for sharing your talents with us.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Johnny McCrae

Howdy KT,

Beautiful! You can be very proud. Many thanks for sharing this with us.

All very nice work guys.
My leather work lately has been a bunch of pancake carry holsters. All the same, one after another.
I am almost caught up with them so my next for me will be a Wild Bunch type rig for my 1911. ;)

Thanks for the kind words, pards.
This is my pattern based on the famous original. That was plain but I've put my tooling design on it.

Johnny McCrae

Howdy Skeeter,

Wow...  Beautiful work! The design, workmanship and execution are excellent. Many thanks for showing this to us.

Skeeter,

To me it looks much nicer than the one in Packing Iron.  With a little age that will be in the next book Packing Iron II.
And so will your other holsters.

I'm going to add this thread to the Bunkhouse thread a little later. If you look for it and it's not around, just head over to the bunkhouse and it'll be there. It's been a good thread. People like family. They're what really count in life anyway.

Marshal thank you for leaving it up as long as you did.  Terry alias KT
