Hi Andy,
Very very nice! Those are some real quality lookin' pieces. Thank you for sharing them with us.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

Hey Folks
Another Holster I did for a customer. The Holster is for a S&W Ruusian Model with 8 inch barrel. Buckskin lined and sewn with a special "sack-stich". Will post detail pics of stiching later.
The gun is only a clone.... we are not alowed to have such real guns in germany:-((((

have a nice day

Slickshot

Andy,

Are these clowns real and can they fire ammo or just replicas for show (cannot be made to fire)?

I love all your work - simplistic and not too elaborate!  GREAT JOB on both holsters.

Take Care,

Slickshot

Hey Slickshot
The S&W is a clone, non firing gun...must plastik, but good as a model because it has the right measurments.
I have some differten Colts and Remingtons as well. Some of them are real guns, destoid to no more firing. Some are blank firing only.
in Germany you need a special licence to have a real gun... It is expensive ant the officers came all the time to see if your house is save and you hold this guns in a special case.... You can not put a real gun in a vitrin or on the wall for display. And you can only carry them to the shoting range... otherwise thye take all your guns away from you and you had to go to yail for a whyle:-( So I give up my licence... have only clones and blank firing guns anymore.... No more officers in my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For my real job I use a semi Auto gun every day, so I am save anyway:-))))))))))

Have a nice day

Wow, that's hard to fathom.

You can only carry one to the range? Are folks allowed to shoot on their own property. Is there any hunting in Germany?

Yes there is a lot of hunting, but mostly for the wealthy.  Andy is speaking about pistols.

OH, I guess when he said guns I thought he meant all guns.

Still bad because we use revolvers a lot for hunting around here. Never go deer hunting without one and not uncommon to pop some each year with a revolver. Probably close to half the deer a buddy and I take when hunting in the woods is with handguns.
