My first post.  I really enjoy working with leather.  Nothing very fancy.
This is a shoulder holster I'm making for a 1849 Colt by Uberti. :)

Thought I'd show another of my holsters.  Olive oil and sun finish.   Thanks for the kind words
for my shoulder holster.

There's some very beautiful work shown here. I won't mention each one, but all you pards are doing great stuff. I've been moving all my leatherworking and reloading stuff into a new workspace. That will be done soon and I'll be able to keep up on things more. Again, I'm really impressed and excited about all your work. Keep at it, pards.

First Duke "El Dorado" rig.  I've resisted making anything that isn't historically accurate, but I guess since John Wayne is over 100 years old, the lines are startin' to blur.  A customer wanted one, sent me movie stills, and I made it.

I guess there's no turnin' back now.

Looks good, Will. Yeah, we have to re-assess what's historical anymore. Beautiful job, there.

Don't know ten wolves.  When I sent the 1911 pattern down and got my quote from the printer, their prices had almost doubled, (thanks to the new hope and change economy!).  I passed that cost along in my pitch to TLF.  Must have made 'em choke because I haven't heard back from 'em.  I'll have to sell a lot of 1911 holsters off my website to make back the two months I spent puttin' it together, but the 1911 pattern can probably do it.  If TLF isn't goin' to be buyin' any more patterns, I have to be real careful choosin' patterns I want to gamble on.  We'll have to see how things shake out.

Thanks for your reply Will, I understand, lets hope things get better all around.
