KT, do you EVER sleep? Do you have some elves in that shop of yours that you've highly trained to duplicate your work?

If I had the extra bucks I'd fly to Minnesota just to watch you work

I've said it before, but I'll say it again, you are the Man, man. Thanks for sharing your work KT

Very cool belts, KT. The first one is beautiful with the tooling, color and lacing. The logo works nicely on the second one.

Ah, I set the new 'puter with the new drive in it to formatting the other night so I could "recover" the system onto it. The estimated time for formatting was 25 1/2 hours. It was wrong. It took 26.  ::) Another 2 to load the system and it was working. Today I tried getting things I need to work in Win 7. Some of it is just not going to have anything to do with it. I like the new OS but will downgrade to XP if I need to. Don't want to do that because I'll have RAM I can't recognize. Still in the continuing saga of computer salvage and organization. :P

Dalton, the Windows Live Photo Gallery has the resizing capability built into it. It's almost the same as the XP Picture Resizer, although I like the XP version a little better.

Here's a closer look after I took #0000 steel wool to the highlighted areas. Not used to having a holster that covers so much the gun. Kind of makes it feel like I'm hiding the firearm.

Santee,

You are right in there for the era ... when cowboys were much more interested in protecting the pistol than a quick draw ...

IMHO, the quick draw rig with the hammer and recoil shield exposed was a product of Hollywood ... and if you have any question about it, look at the rigs of not the hero, but the extras in the background ... often the extras were out-of-work cowboys and brought their rigs with them ...
My moniker is my great grandfather's name. He served with the 2nd Florida Mounted Regiment in the Civil War. Afterward, he came home, packed his wife into a wagon, and was one of the first NorteAmericanos on the Frio River southwest of San Antonio ..... Kinda where present day Dilley is ...

Thanks Marshal!

I know what you mean, Dalton. I'm just starting to get the feel of 7. I upgraded to 7 Professional so I would be able to download and install the XP Compatibility Mode from MS for the programs I have that really need XP to work. My mouse (Logitech MX Revolution) works better in some ways and not so in others. It's a different system, for sure.
