Here's a couple more for my bud KT.The file dagger has 150 yo barn oak for the hanlde and the little knife was a gift to him. This little one was one of my very first projects over 20 years ago and is made from sawblade steel.I just added the rawhide to it and made a little sheath to hang on his workbench.Dave :)

KidTerico

That's awesome Dave, the file knife is similar to the type file knives my Granddad use to make, as per our discussion on the phone about all the dust they can generate while grinding, and certain smell that went along with it, almost sulfur like from the sparks that were frying, KT is going to have one of the best collection around, and all his pieces have lots of history and character, I like that. ;D

This is the first holster of this type I've made, using a Tandy pattern.  I also have here the latest mag holder, this time using a different style belt loop than I've used before. I used a bag punch to make a cut on each side for the belt to pass through, sort of like the holster. I'm going to make a belt for this set up

Very nice aging, TW. It looks really good. Excellent work.

AC, Very nice holster you made there. Beautiful color. Good trade.

KT, that folder is outstanding. Very cool. John did you right.

Dave, that dagger is really interesting. It looks like it was made from a rasp. It has a nice look to it. Good work, there.

Good-looking holster, JD. Nice color on it. The angle looks good, too. I have one similar to it and that angle works really well.

Anyone making a holster for a Walther P-38?  I have  an excellent dummy to mould one from.

Nice work pards and I thank you for your comments.
I just finished this one today.I have to thank one of my best friends, John Cohea for doing his video on Rawhide sheaths. It really is a well done video, and although I deviated a few things to add my touch, I did my first rawhide sheath.
I made the knife with 1095 steel and the blade is 5 1/2" and has Copper bolsters and the handle is Giraffe Bone. The sheath is deer rawhide with deerskin fringe.Dave  :)

KidTerico

EE Taft some very nice leather work your showing. I like the small holster. Dave thats a great job for being your first raw hide sheathl Like the weaving on the top. KT
