More cool Knives and sheaths.

TW, those splatters work well. It's a good sheath for that knife. It is very suitable for a working knive.

Dave, Another outstanding one. The inlay looking like Damascus is a nice touch. Looks good.

Marshal, the inlay is damascus. That is one of the things we desided on to have real damascuc.. KT

Marshal Will Wingam

Well, no wonder it looks like Damascus. :D 8) It's very effective.

Howdy TW,
You have accomplished your mission on this one. This sheath has lots of character and should last another forty years. The blood splatter is cool.

Howdy KT,
Simply beautiful! Another fine work of art from a master Knife Maker and a master Leather Smith.

Many thanks to you Gents for sharing your talents with us. You work is a genuine pleasure to look at.

Skeeter Lewis

Great work, pards. Congrats.
This is a new rig. A Rice holster with my own tooling pattern. The pattern worked out so so. And the seeds are a bit clumsy. The rivets are #14s. I've finally got the hang of those little buggers...

Evoo and sunshine.

JD Alan

From the top: 10 Wolves, that is a great design on a great looking knife. What better thing to have on a skinnin knife than blood spatter?

KT & DC: You guys are a pair to draw to! Dave, how cool is it to have a customer that's as talented and skillful with leather as KT? Terry, how cool is it to find such a talented maker of both knives and sheaths who has the skill and willingness to bring your vision to reality?

What an awesome piece of work!

Skeeter, I think you are the King of Color! I Love the color you get on your rigs, and this is a great example. The carving and overall execution of the build is first rate. Could you explain the Rice comment? Is it a style of holster, or perhaps the name of a maker? We of the uninformed would appreciate some education!

Thanks JD and Santee.
The 'Rice' holster refers to the photo on page 101 of Packing Iron. It is much imitated nowadays. The saddler was R. E. Rice of Dodge City.

Johnny McCrae

Howdy Skeeter,
That is a very professional looking rig. The workmanship and design is outstanding! Many thanks for sharing it with us.
