I have an Armisport Spencer Carbine for sale in 44-40. The case coloring is beautiful and the bore is bright and shinny and has never seen a bullet. All the blueing is in perfect shape. I can send additional pictures on request, just e-mail me. It can be used for reenacting or CAS. I am selling it at the bargain price of only $1150. $30 Shipping. FFL required. Includes hard case.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a handsome, and well preserved body; but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...."WOW!... What a ride!"

Just a note to all you pards. When I was first looking, these were unavailable, so I bought a 56-50 here off SSS from another member. Less than a week later, I traded into a like new 44-40. I've shot both in SASS matches and love them both. The 44-40 is dead-on, hair-splittin accurate at any range up to 150 yds, from the box with off-the-shelf cowboy loads and my reloads (smokeless and BP subs). I'm still playing with loads for the 56-50 past 50 yds. The one thing I have noticed is I reach for the 44-40 at a match more often, because where I shoot I'm often ejecting cartridge cases into grass. Inevitably, some get lost. At $1/rnd, that gets expensive with the 56/50. I don't sweat loosing a few 44-40's in a match. For the CAS shooter, I'd highly recommend the 44-40, though for fun in shooting, the 56-50 is my favorite. Just my $0.02 and YMMV. BTW, if I were just starting my search for a Spencer, I'd jump on this. GREAT PRICE for a GREAT CARBINE!

Major,

That at least keeps my hopes up.
