We all know that a two holster rig with one strong-side holster and one crossdraw holster is usually referred to as a crossdraw rig (the strong side holster kinda bein' understood, I reckon). But I've seen a rig with two "butt-to-the-rear" holsters, one on each side, referred to as a double strong side rig. Isn't that a misnomer? "Double strong side" seems to me to mean two holsters on your strong side. I know THAT ain't right.
Anyone have a notion as to what the "two butt-to-the-rear holsters, one on each side" rig SHOULD be properly called?

For our game it would seem logical to call it a "Gunfighter" or "Double Duelist" rig, I would think.

"strong side holster" - Intended to be drawn and shot by the hand on the side the holster is on.... thus "double strong side rig". Of course some shooters wear the same rig and do the switch before shooting, but if we start calling this something different we start getting bogged down in definitions.  Example: A Cross Draw rig used by a person who doesn't cross draw, but instead does the Cav twist.....That's my take on it fer wat it's worth. ;)

I to have had a problem with the "double strong side" discription and have always referred to it as a 2 gun, butt's to the rear rig.

Works for me :)
