  Recently my young son dropped my 22 long rifle pistol and now the barrel rotates the cun shoots straight but I want to  realign the barrel and put it right any thought on this as a DIY?

 I WOULD SEND IT IN TO RUGER THEY MOST LIKELY REPAIR IT FREE OF CHARGE.
I DID THAT WITH A SUPER BLAK HAWK FOR CYLINDER GAP AND THEY DID IT FOR FREE.
TRY  YAH GOT NOTHIN TO LOOSE....... RAM

Most definitely ship it back to Ruger - they're best-equipped to handle the problem and they'll also be interested in how it happened, since 'something' was obviously wrong in QC when that piece was sold.
