I have just acquired a Uberti Cattleman Hombre in 45 Long Colt . I am trying to find out the history of this pistol ( I.E. year it was made ,Ect) i dont know were to look it up at. If anyone could help me with my search it would be great.  The info that is on the pistol is " Stroeger-Uberti  45 colt Ser # j90088 and in a samll bob are the letters " CB"

ie.  The date code is when it was proofed in Italy.   Just so's ya know it all

So, that is the Italian Government Proof House number, not Ubertis?  Where are these located on a Schofield?
