4th generation short strokes

What are the advantages or disadvantages of the new super short strokes or the 4th generation short strokes.

Shorter lever stroke, BUT like choking up on a pipe wrench, yer doing the same work with less motion, so it does require a bit more effort.  Some big time CAS smiths have made good money taking em out and putting 3rd gen kits back in......
