Here's a rear site I made for my 1876. I don't like the horns on the buchorn sight and I wanted a narrower notch. So I made this one from 1084 spring steel.

Its a BEAUTIFUL THING!!!! ;D

1084 huh?  Sounds like something a knifemaker would use? ;D  I've got a new 76 NWMP coming and may have to do something like that for it.

Good job.

Here's some of my work. I do mostly 18th century stuff. I love my muzzleloaders and old leverguns. ;D

Very cool hawks!  One of these days I've got to try a smoking hawk.  Did you do the powder horns too? 8)

Wills yes I made the powder horns also. I make all my accouterments for my muzzleloaders and for other folks too. I even make a gun once in while. ;D

Awsome work!  A nice left handed flinter is on my "to do" list, but never seems to be enough time to get around too it.

Thanks for sharing 8)
