Does anyone on the wire know how the Malcolm telescopic sight was mounted on the Henry, 66 or 73, with their top eject systems?

Capt.,

If you have the Madis text (i.e. "The Winchester Book"), in the chapter on Henry's there is a picture of a full length Wm. Malcolm mounted on a Henry.  It is mounted very high (guessing 1.7"+ clearance from the receiver) on what looks like Malcolm mounts.  The picture and descriptions do not indicate if any offset is present.
