I have a 100-loop, blue Mills belt, as Drydock described, with 'C' closure - first $50 takes it.  Almost like new - loops are still tight and a little stiff.

PM or email me.

Thanks for all the replies! Since I first asked the question, I've gotten a 50 round khaki belt, with "H" plate from Coon Creek, as well as a set of leggins. Belt seems good, except the ends are left unfinished, no hardware. Were any origianals made that way? Or should I get some of the end hardware from S&S to finish it off? They aren't needed to adjust length with the H plate, so it will work without them. Now I just need a holster and pistol cartridge box so I can look "somewhat" complete at our first shoot next month.

The holster and pistol cartidge box should not be a problem.

hi any u guys looking to buy prarie belts, ive been searching the us for ages for a genuine looking belt  with no luck, by chance i came across a co in australia , called percival leather works , his belts are amazing and awethentic down to the last detail , he makes the 1876 model  and 1880s cavalry belt, compared to his belts all the others are rubbish

Texas Lawdog

David Carrico makes some PC military belts that reasonably priced. He made me a Mills Belt and a Prairie Belt.

Buck Stinson

liten,
I checked out the Percival web site and agree that the stuff is nice, but did you check the prices?  Even when using their conversion chart, the US dollar amount is extremely high.  I don't make canvas belts or any other military items, but I am at the top of the class in reproducing cowboy gun leather and accessories and my prices are 40 to 50% less.  I also noticed that many of the items on this site were copied from items of the same name, that I have listed on my site.

Buck is indeed at the top of the class!   I've been fortunate enough to own some of his gunleather for over twenty years and I've never seen any better, not excluding originals.  Buy his stuff and you'll never regret it.

Right now I'm just going with the one I made out of an old Stetson cowboy hat.  It's not really correct, but it will work for now.  I'm going to wait and see if Eureka Arsenal gets back to making them.
