New issue (#2) of this new magazine just hit the stands, and it has some good stuff in it. Lots about Marlins, old Winchesters, handloading, etc. But the best piece for me was the Light Gunsmithing article by Gil Sengel, called "Iron Sights and Lever Guns." Really useful info, including how to make a custom notched elevation ramp for your rear iron sight that cal;ibrated for known distances for the loads you actually shoot.

Sure cleared up some mystery for me on a current project replacing my factory sights with something that fits my shooting style better.
