Should I be worried about this?  I have taken a couple of pictures.  It looks like it is all the way thru, and I can see it from the other side.

Is this something I need to think about sending back to Ruger?
I was doing a full strip to clean and oil them back up.  It is also on both of them.

Rugers are cast not forged...it looks to be thin spot and finish machining cuts through... probably normal

I have that in all three of my Original Vaqueros.  I use it for oiling the inards.

Better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

It's a normal thing.
Part of machining a casting and nothing to worry about.
