Title says it all. I'm quite impressed. Need to load up my 56-50 cases and get to shooting now. Fit and fnish are excellent. This carbine was made in 2003 and has the case-hardened breech block assembly. I'm hoping that this will not prove to be a problem, as I remember some prior posts mentioning that AS has gone to blued assemblies now. I also probably have the 1-20 twist. Hoot has recommended using the Lyman 515141 bullet and I will probably do so, as soon as I can find a deal on the mold. For now, I've cast a 150 or so of the 515139 330 gr. bullets and will try those with Goex FFG and 777. Would appreciate any thoughts and comments.  ;D ;D ;D

for acuracy the lyman 515141 is by far the best bullet but it restrics pouder capacity if you want it to feed through the magizine to 30gr BP,for longer distances I put 38gr swiss 2f and seat the bullet out so it crimps on the start of the second grees goove, you have to load these singaly but i have had realy good results out to 200mters once you get the sights right, for anything 50yd or less the 30gr loade crimped to about 1.6inch feeds through the magizine butfully and you will get much beter acuracy,I belive the lyman 515141 bullet is the shotest bullet that can be yoused with any acuracy in a 1-20 twist barell I think the carbine now has a 1-26 twist rifle1-20,the carbine should do even beter with the lyman515141 and would probly work OK with a slitly shorter bullet, but i am still wating for AS to make a barrell with the right twist so i can youse 350gr bullets through the magizine and be acurate licke the originals are
