I have a pair of old (37 years) cavelry type boots that I used to wear with my N-SSA uniform before we changed to shoes.  They have been sitting in my study for many (25) years.  I would like to get them into shape to wear with cowboy attire.  Can anyone advise me as to how to go about this.   Thanks in advance.  Stumpy. ;D

I am not totally sure of your question but for dressing the leather I strongly suggest "Skidmore's" leather cream. The stuff just works.

Montana Pitch Blend is commonly referenced here as well, as is Blackrock.
Just because you CAN ride the hide off a horse, doesn't mean you should.

I really appreciate the info.  Checked Skidmores webb page.   Sounds just like what I need.  Ordered some to try.  God bless. :)
