In my work world OCL means Object Constraint Language. Somehow i don't think that's what you were looking for.

In my reloading reference chart for .357 magnum cartridges it specifies:
Case length 1.29 in (33 mm)
Overall length 1.59 in (40 mm)

But I'm not sure that's what you were looking for either.

Overall Chamber Length mebbe?

So now I'm curious. What did you mean, and why would it be different for Smoke Wagons than any other .357?

Angel_Eyes

Yeah, me too!
If the pistol is specified as a .357mag, then surely it will chamber any loading in any of the proprietary loading manuals ???
Or are you looking for some other shooters version of his tack driving load :o

AE

( My most accurate loading was a 148gr Wadcutter with 3gr Alliant Bullseye behind it, but that is probably not what you want :-X)

Hi
I was looking for the Overall Cartridge Length that was best suited for this particular revolver.
Since I do not have a 357 at present I have no idea  what the cylinder will accept. As usual I asked a stupid question , thanks for bringing it to my attention.
My apologies for causing confusion .
Irrelevant now anyway.
