Guys, I want to make something close to the Paladin style holster, with knight.  I plan to stamp the design in rather than spend the high dollars for a recreated metal version.  My question is, what paint would look best on here as a metallic silver look?  It would need to hold fast and be somewhat pliable in my opinion.  Has anyone tried anything like this to achieve silver and did it require blending paints?  I hope to make the actual holster this week and any help would be appreciated.

Use Silver acrylic paint. Water it down a bit and build up the color. If you use it too thick it can crack. Put a good finish over it. Super sheen will make it shiny.

Thanks WC, I'll pick up some at Tandy next time I get up to Columbia.  In the meantime I will post pictures if I can make the holster part happen anytime soon.  I need to look at some pictures of the originals to see what would be needed to get one of my existing patterns close. Now to look for a derringer small enuff to fit behind my buckle, my Bond Arms is larger than Roogers six shooters!

Forty, that's where it pays to be left handed like me, the horse goes in the right direction then, also the Colt SAA was also made for the left hander, There is something to be said for us lefty's, at least our horses go forward, and we don't have to change hands to load and unload  ;) ::) :o 8) ???
