Grapeshot

I just picked up a new Trapdoor Rifle in .45-70.  I'm dying to try it out.  I have 80 rounds of .45-500-70 rounds made up as well as twenty rounds of guard ammo, three round balls of .457 diameter over 50/55 grains of powder.  I still have to make up some .45-405-70 and .45-405-55 ammo made up to see how that works out.
Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

Pitspitr

Congratulations! Bring it to the Muster in Oct. and giver her her baptism.

Forgive my ignorance, but where is the muster to be held?

Grapeshot, visit the thread at the top of this forum, "T-minus 62 days and counting . . ."

The Muster will be at beautiful, historic Ft. Hartsuff, near Ord, Nebr. It is a fully restored period Indian War-era post. There are even 40 slots for registrants to stay in the Enlisted Men's Barracks, plus rumor of accomodations for couples available. Lodging choices in surrounding towns.

Commissary and cooking by our own Delmonico on site, a pleasure to behold!

October 9th-11th.
