Um, uh, oh, they're round balls DM.

I don't suppose I'll be labeling them Big Lube ;).  Probably just something like DD-RB-457, or whatever the size is.  It'll sure pile up a bunch of RBs in a hurry.

There seems to be a lot of demand for Six Cavity Round Ball molds out there.

I'll take one in .454 and in .380

Looks good DD, and looks like it keeps the Lee style cut off which makes a flat spot as oposed to a sprue sticking up.  Like the flat spot better, and love my lee round ball moulds, just takes to dang long to cast many with them.

It sounds like you are going ahead with it anyway, but I'd like a 457 mould for the ROA's I just bought.
All my cowboy gun's calibres start with a 4! It's gotta be big bore and whomp some!

If the mold proves out, and I believe it will, there will be .457", .454" & .380" sizes made first, in that order.  I'm going to try to ship from inventory rather than have back orders.  Thus, they won't appear on the Big Lube®LLC web site till they are ready for shipment.

Other sizes may be offered on a "custom" basis.  The three sizes above would be "standard" sizes and others would be "custom" sizes.  Since tooling is required for each size a tooling charge of $75 would be charged for "custom" orders.  But that's a ways down the trail yet.  First comes the prototype and proof casting, then comes the batches of molds in the order above.  Finally, there will be time for "custom" size orders.

Be patient, they're coming.  Good things take time, and in this case, money.
