Ned Buckshot and i did some hoss tradin and i believe i came out on the better end,but that won't last long, but this leather will.Made to last and top of the line craftsmanship for sure.Ned made the knife for me at an earlier time and it is my absolute favorite.Moose antler handle man and fits my hand real well,Ned has a knack for doin that somehow,he made this holster without the gun being there and you can see it fits right fine. Now i was supposed to just get a holster, but we were chattin about birthdays the other day and his and mine are very close on this month, when i opened this package it had something wrapped in there that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY RICK,ahhem, ahhem, dang got somethin in my throat~~~~That was a very nice thing to do,didn't excpect that one, ahhem~~Well i just want to say THANK YOU VERY MUCH NED BUCKSHOTyou sir are a class act..I am very proud to be the recipient of such fine work..It's gettin a little late and i keep forgettin we have a time difference and my leg is throbbin some,so here are the pics of leather work done by a fine craftsman. If ya need somethin done please keep Ned in your reference book. You will not be disapointed.I'll get some pics tommorrow of it on...Godbless Ned Buckshot!I sure like that feller :) ;D

Very very nice! This is a good example of a great design coupled with excellent workmanship. You can be proud to wear this.
You need to learn to like all the little everday things like a sip of good whiskey, a soft bed, a glass of buttermilk,  and a feisty old gentleman like myself

That is mighty fine work indeed. I sent Ned a chunk of elk antler for a knife handle. I'm really looking forward to seeing the knife he's going to make me.

Rick, for heaven's sake, why didn't you just go out and buy a big pistol, instead of that little pea shooter ;D

I've got a match today, and I guarantee you won't see anything like that there. How about carrying two of those and shooting double duelist! What caliber is that anyway, 90 Long Colt? (Ya know, double 45, never mind)

It's easy to see why the western pistol got the nick name Hog Leg when you take a look at that monster

Thanks for the great pictures. Nice leather work Ned, you're a real pro. JD

I might even send him some flowers :-*

They used to sell those pistols in a set of two,Piettas,i've got 3 long barreled pistols,i like long barrels for some reason, and i like to collect, more than shoot.I'm willin to bet if i stashed that holster set it would be worth alot in the future, but i don't sell stuff that are made by people i keep them forever end of story....i have a real respect for those than can sit down focus and craft something like that or paint, man i have tried,i got more unfinished things ??? :-[ I'm a poster child for ADD ;D

No, but I work at InterMedia outdoors, and the art director whose office is next to mine AD's Shotgun News. His dad left him a pair of Bisons in consecutive numbers. He brought them in the other day and I got to get a good look at them. Very cool stuff.
