Recieved my second Henry in 2 weeks.
First one came in Brass. Ordered Blued.
Second one came today, Blued but with a bent loading tube.
So I'll waite another week and hope this one comes in Blued and in good condition.
I'm getting it from a local sporting goods store and their getting it from stoger. Should have gone with someone how orders from cimerron or taylors but they don't carry the Blued model .
Nothing I can do but smile and waite.
Oh Well. Wish me luck. ;D

Doc

Dirty Brass

Oh wow that's bad luck. Did the damaged one get that way during shipping or was it packed that way from the factory?

It should be worth the wait - but still....  :'(

Doc O

Came that way from factory. It looked like it had been in a vice and then blued.
It will be worth the waite, it's a good looking gun.
Now I got 100 round of 44-40 and no gun.
I guess I'll have to throw them at the targets this weekend.  ;D
Na I'll just use the 66.

You got a .44-40?

ATTA BOY, DOC!
People like me are the reason people like you have the right to bitch about people like me.

Doc O

The importer is giving me a bit of a run around.
They thought I should send the second gun back so their gunsmith could look at it. I'm not paying that much money for a broken gun that their gunsmith is going to work on. >:(
Told the store which ordered it for me, if it isn't in by this next Tuesaday I'm going some where else.[not the store falt]
I will be getting a Henry 44-40 whether its from Benelli or some other importer.
Haven't lost hope yet. ;D

Ho. By the way I shot the 66 today  ::) ::) [wasn't pretty]

Looked ok to me pard! Made the proper sound, smoke & flash...and we didn't have to complain about the weather, either.

Best wishes on getting that new Henry...

"I will be getting a Henry 44-40 whether its from Benelli or some other importer."  Doesn't really make much difference since Stoeger, Benelli, Beretta, are all owned by the same company.  Doesn't matter who imports it, it is made by Uberti, which is also part of the Stoeger, Benelli, Beretta group of companies.
